IRIS warrants to the original purchaser that IRIS-branded products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year from the date of shipment. If the IRIS-branded product fails during the warranty period, IRIS will, at its option: (1) repair the product, (2) replace the product.

Installation

Required hardware includes only an inverted microscope system (microscope, objective lens, camera, camera coupling lens) and Personal Computer with image capture software.

Easy Installation Steps
1. Prepare your microscope
- Remove any illumination/boom hardware from microscope
- Make sure microscope platen is cleared and clean
- Remove inner sample plate from platen if applicable

2. Attach the XRS2D50
- Connect XRS2D50 cables (Power Cable; Cables from Electronics Box to X-ray Unit; USB cables from PC to Electronics Box)
- Remove Scintillator’s protective cover from X-ray Unit
- Place X-ray Unit on microscope platen
- Insert IRIS Software CD and follow installation instructions on screen
- Turn camera on
- Run image capture software

3. View your sample- no sample prep required!
- Place sample on sample tray and shut sample tray door
- Turn on XRS2D50 Electronics Box
- Run IRIS Software
- Turn on x-ray source
- Slowly increase x-ray voltage and current
That’s It! Now focus on your sample.
